October 27th, 28th, and 29th ATTENTION ALL KRAV MAGA MEMBERS! Krav Maga Liven International will have a general meeting and all members of All styles of Krav Maga around the world are INVITED to attend! The schedule is as follows: Friday October 27th: First day of the general meeting and training, we request that all leaders and instructors of the Krav Maga system attend. Saturday October 28th: A recap of the meeting from the previous day for those unable to attend. This recap will follow a training session from 11:00 - 14:00 in which Kancho Liven will teach his latest developments in the Krav Maga system as well as teach everyone the new series of movements that will be required to graduate to the next grade. Finally there will be a voting session for positions in the organizations as well as graduation for both new and old members, which will be followed by a party in the evening! Sunday October 29th: From 11:00 - 13:00 there will be an extra training session for those interested. We look forward to seeing you all here in Århus soon. November 17th-22rd Kancho Raffi Liven will be the special guest of honor/referee at the Russian Championship of Ultimate Free Fighting & Pankration and he has been requested to bring 7 fighters to represent him in the competition. Kancho Liven will be making his selection based on those interested as well as those who are skilled enough, so if you are interested meet with Kancho and prove yourself. The trip is free of charge(flight, hotel, food) and the 1st place contestant is rewarded with a 1000 dollar cash prize!

2005 World Championships in Grappling in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Sho Shin Do 4th Dan Sensei Tom Madsen from Hamburg won the 2005 World Championships in Grappling
in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.After preparations in the Bushido Dojo in
Aarhus Sensei returned to fighting business and this time in the art of grappling (like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), after preparing only for 3 years in pankration but more than 15 years with Kancho Raffi Liven Sensei made the fastest win in the octagon by beating the 3rd placing American in only 55 seconds in the semifinal by
neck-crank and 9 points. Sensei Vic Joukadarian, with whom Sensei trained the last days before the tournament. Sensei Vic did not feel well after some tough fights in the preliminary rounds and could not compete against Sensei Tom and official winner of 2005 World Championships in Grappling was announced to be “Sensei Tom Madsen, Denmark”.
Kancho Raffi Liven´s seminars and travels (click above to see pictures) October 2-12, 2005 Kancho Raffi Liven enjoyed a very successful trip to India recently. More than 1000 karate students in New Delhi were pleased to have Kancho Liven teaching them. The students learned and improved themselves vastly in only a matter of days, thanks to the marvelous teaching and inspiration from Kancho Liven. Also, Kancho Liven met many famous people while in India, such as many famous doctors, lawyers and government officials. The All India Martial Arts Federation has made it very clear that they are very interested in maintaining the relationship that they have formed with us here at the World Academy of Martial Arts. We look forward to seeing them again very soon, and anticipate their participation in the 2006.
